El jueves por la mañana visitamos el Museo de la Biblioteca Nacional, donde pudimos ver muchas muestras de libros muy antiguos y/o relevantes, como por ejemplo, La Odiesea, de Homer. Por el museo fuimos a nuestro aire y estuvimos una hora y poco.
Más tarde, los profesores nos dejaron por fin, ir de compras. Sólo nos dieron una hora y de media, pero como siempre, hubieron personas que llegaron tarde. Nos recogimos todos y cogimos las maletas para llevarlas al autobús y embarcar hacia Barcelona.
El viaje fue muy largo y pesado. Nos distrajimos viendo películas y charlando. Paramos dos veces: una en Zaragoza (¡dónde comimos en un restaurante!) y la otra en una zona de descanso para que las personas que comieron en el autocar pudieran limpiarlo antes de llegar a Cardedeu. Cuando llegamos estábamos muy felices, igual, suponemos, que los padres. Estuvimos hablando brevemente sobre el viaje con los padres y después cada uno se fue para casa a descansar.
On Thursday morning we visited the Museum of the National Library, where we saw much evidence of very old books and/ or relevant, such as The Odiesea by Homer. In the museum we went alone and we were here about an hour.
Later, the teachers let us finally go shopping. They just give us an hour and a half, but as always, there were people who arrived late. We all gathered and took the suitcases to carry and board the bus to Barcelona. The journey was very long and heavy. We were distracted watching movies and chatting. We stopped twice: once in Saragossa (Where we ate in a restaurant!) and the other in a rest area because that people who ate in the bus they must clean it before arrive Cardedeu. When we arrived we were very happy, as we assume, as the parents. We talked briefly about the jouney with our parents and then each persons went home to rest.
El miércoles tuvimos que madrugar mucho, y hay que decir que nos costó mucho, pero al final desayunamos y fuimos con autobús hacia Zamora. El trayecto se nos hizo un poco largo, ya que duró aproximadamente 3 horas. Cuando finalmente llegamos, nos sorprendió a a calor que hacía, unos 42ºC aprox. en el mediodía.
Por la mañana nos separamos en dos grupos. Unos estaban en la sala de informática enseñando nuestras plataformas, y los otros, descansaban el patio y intentar hacerse amigos con los de Zamora, cosa que costó bastante. Los chicos jugaban a fútbol, y por lo que se veía, había más confrontamientos que con las chicas que estaban jugando a voleyball.
Los alumnos de Zamora se sorprendieron de la gran cantidad de faena que habíamos realizo en las clases de inglés, y a más, descubrieron que los catalanes somos "majos", no como corre la fama por ahí.
Al mediodía comimos en un parque que estaba muy cerca del instituto. La comida la compremos en un supermercado de la cuidad, y de nuevo, en el parque nos separamos por grupos: catalanes y zamoranos.
Por la tarde recorrimos la zona histórica de la ciudad, dónde una profesora del instituto de Zamora nos intentó explicar los más relevante de cada cosa. La tarde se nos hizo pesada, ya que hacia mucha calor, íbamos corriendo de un lado a otro y sinceramente, nos estábamos por que teníamos que estar.
Al las 16'00h nos despedimos de Zamora y volvimos a Madrid. Llegamos al albergue a las 20'30h y solo se pudieron duchar los ocho alumnos que querían dar una "vuelta histórica" por la noche con Jesús. Pero resulta que no era verdad, que en verdad lo quería Jesús es dar una vuelta con unos cuantos profesores. Al final fuimos Anna Emilio, Silvia Emilio, Jennifer Morales, Aitor Ortega, AbelVidal, JuniorDomínguez, Marina Redondo y yo, AnnaMaria Martín. Además nos acompañó un amigo de Jesús, Antonio, que nos guió y nos explicó sus anécdotas. Muchas de ella eran que había conocido a mucha gente famosa, y por causalidad, nos encontramos con el cantante Carlos Baute, con quien nos hicimos una foto y nos dio 2 besos. Durante toda la noche nos quedamos fascinados y muy, muy felices. Pero antes de esto, nos tomamos un helado y nos hicimos un mini reportaje fotográfico, por casualidad, al pie de una iglesia.
On Wednesday we had to got up every early, and we must say that it cost a lot, but finally we went to breakfast and got the bus to Zamora. The jouney was long, and it lasted approximately 3 hours. When we finally arrived, we felt surprised because the weather was 42 ºC.
In the morning we split into two groups. Some people were in the computer room to teach our platforms, and the others, were relexed in the recess and met Zamora friends. The boys were playing football, and there was more confrontations than the girls who were playing volleyball.
The Zamora students were surprised because they though that we work very hard and they discovered that the Catalans people are very nice.
At noon we ate in a park that was near to the high school. We bought the food in a supermarket. Then we parted at the park by groups: Catalan and Zamorano.
In the afternoon, we toured the historic area of town, where a teacher's high school in Zamora explained the most important things. The afternoon was good, but it was very hot, we ran a lot and frankly, we weren't good.
We legt Zamora at 16'00 a.m. and returned to Madrid. We arrived at the hostel at 20'30 a.m. and some people had a shower, who wanted to give a "historic turn" in the evening with Jesus. But that was not true, beacuase Jesus wanted to went out with a few students. Finally we were Anna Emilio, Emilio Silvia, Jennifer Morales, Aitor Ortega, Abel Vidal, Junior Dominguez, Marina Redondo and me, Anna Maria Martin. We also accompanied a friend of Jesus, Antonio, who guided us and told us their stories. Many of them were that he had met many famous people, and by chance, we met the singer Carlos Baute, who we took a picture and gave us two kisses. Throughout the night we were fascinated and very, very happy. But before that, we ate an ice cream and we did a mini photo report, at the foot of a church.
Por la mañana desayunemos en el albergue a las 8'00h y nos dirigimos andando hacia el Senado. Allí nos guió una mujer y nos mostró y explicó la mayoría de las salas. En una de ellas tuvimos la opurtunidad de conocer a Isidro Moras, vicepresidente del Senado. Estuvimos hablando durante un buen rato y depués visitemos la inmensa y impactante biblioteca del Senado.
Al mediodía comimos el famoso bocadillo de calamares y por la tarde fuimos a visitar el Museo del Prado. Allí nos separamos en dos grupos: los alumnos que iban con los profesores y otro con los que iban a su aire. Los dos grupos hicimos una recolección de información de kas obras más importantes, unas de entre ellas: "Las Meninas", "Felipe IV", "El Caballero con la Mano en el Pecho", "El Jardín de las Delcias" ...
A las 19'30 nos separamos para cenar, la mayoría cenamos pizza, y quedamos a las 21'00h delante del teatro, ya que los profesores pensaban que el musical empezaba a las 21'30h, pero empezó a las 20'30h. Así que tuvimos que entrar en silencio en la mitad del musical y en el descanso nos sentamos en nuestros asientos respectivos. El musical en general nos encantó, pero la lástima fue que no entendimos la historia de la representación.
Por la noche llegamos en el albergue y nos fuimos a "dormir".
In the morning we had breakfast at the hostel and we went to the Senate. There a woman guided us and showed us and explained most of the rooms. In one of them, we had the opportunity to met Isidro Moras, vice president of the Senate. We talked for a while and then visit the vast and impressive library of the Senate. At noon we ate the famous calamari sandwich and in the afternoon we went to visit the Museo del Prado. There we split into two groups: students who were with teachers and other with his wereair. The two groups did a collection of information of most important works, some of them: "Las Meninas", "Philip IV", "The Knight with his hand on his chest," "The Garden of Delcias"...
At 19'30 a.m. we separted for dinner, the most of people ate pizza, and look forward to 21'00h theater, because the teachers thought that the musical began at 21'30 am.., but it started at 20'30 a.m. So we had to go silent in the middle of the musical and in the rest we sat on our respective seats. The musical in general wsa fantastic, but we couldn't understand the history of representation. In the evening we arrived at the hostel and we went to "sleep."
Nos levantamos las 7'00 h y nos duchamos otra vez de la calor que hacía. Nos vestimos, preparamos la mochila de excursión y fuimos a desayunar. Cuando acabamos, nos dirigimos andando hacia el instituto IES Santamarca, dónde nos encontramos con todos los alumnos participantes en el proyecto, incluidos los alumnos de IES Rio Duero. Primero se presentaron los de Madrid y presentaron cómo trabajan la lengua inglesa en su instituto. Después Anna Maria Martín, Anna Emilio, Sílvia Emilio y Víctor Quiñones nos representaron como el instituto Pla Marcell y explicaron también, como trabajamos en nuestro instituto. Hay que decir que estaban muy nerviosos, pero finalmente se salieron muy bien la exposición. Después de nosotros, se presentaron los de Zamora y una vez finalizada de recepción, nos dirigímos hacía el parque del Retiro para comer. La comida la compremos en un supermercado cerca de parque, y comimos todos en el parque. La relación entre todos costó, pero al final nos hicimos amigos jugando, como no, a cartas. Después de comer, algunos se fueron a las barcas y otros se hicieron un "mini siesta".
Por la tarde pasamos por la Puerta del Sol, la Plaza Mayor, el Ayuntamiento, el Congreso de Diputados y nos fuimos de compras por la zona de Gran Vía. Fue allí dónde Mireia Catalan y Helena Schwarz se encontraron con Violeta y Quino, personajes de la serie televisiva "Física o Química".
Por la noche cenamos en el albergue, por cierto, que no nos gustó mucho y después nos acostamos jugando a cartas.
We got up at 7'00 pm and we had a shower again. We got dress, prepared the backpack and went to have a breakfast. When we finished, we went walking to IES Santamarca, where we were with all students participating in the project, including students from IES Rio Duero. First presented Madrid's students and how they work English language. After, Anna Maria Martin, Anna Emilio, Silvia and Victor Quiñones represented us as Pla Marcell and also how we worked in our high school. We must said that they were very nervous, but finally were very good and nice. After we presented, was Zamora's studentents thar finished the meeting. Then we ate in Retiro Park. We bought the food in a supermarket and all ate at the park. The relationship between us cost, but ultimately we became friends, playing of course, cards. After lunch, some of us went to the boats and others took a mini nap. In the afternoon we passed through the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the City Council, the Congress of Deputies, and we went shopping in the area of Gran Vía, where Mireia Catalan and Helena Schwarz met Violeta and Quino, tv series characters "Física o Química."
In the evening we dined at the lodge, that we didn't like too much the food, and then we go to bed.
Domingo nos levantamos muy nerviosas e impacientes. Acabamos de preparar las maletas y comimos muy pronto, ya que teníamos que estar en la entrada del instituto a las 15'00 h para salir hacia Madrid.
El trayecto se nos hizo muy largo y fatigoso, pero nos pudimos distraer con las películas que se proyectaban en las televisiones del autobús, hablando con los amigos, escuchando música y haciéndonos fotografías. Paramos a las 19'00h a Zaragoza para estirar las piernas, tomar algo e ir al lavabo. Finalmente llegamos a Madrid a las 23'45 h. Llegamos muy rendidos y medio dormidos, pero a la vez, felices de por fin haber llegado. El autobús nos dejó enfrente del albergue y nos instalaciones en nuestras respectivas habitaciones, cuyas distribución las hizo los profesores. Esta ida no nos gustó mucho, pero nos confortamos con lo que había.
Las instalaciones del albergue nos gustó mucho, ya que era muy nuevo y muy completo. Por la noche pusimos la ropa en las taquillas individuales que teníamos en nuestra habitación y algunas de nosotras nos duchamos de la calor que hacía. Cuando nos relajamos, juguemos a cartas durante un rato hasta que nos cansamos y nos fuimos a dormir muy cansadas.
On Sunday we got up very nervous and anxious. We just prepare the bags and ate quickly because we had to be at the entrance of the high school at 15:00 pm to go to Madrid. The journey took us very long and tiring, but we were distracted with the films that were projected on television on the bus, talking with friends, listening to music and making photos. We stopped at a 19'00h in Zaragoza to stretch our legs, drink and go to the toilet. Finally we came to Madrid to 23'45 h. We arrived very exhausted and asleep, but at the same time, happy to finally have arrived. The bus left us in front of the hostel facilities and we are in our respective rooms, which their distribution made the teachers. This way we didn't like, but we were comfortable with what we had. The facilities at the hostel we liked because it was very new and very complete. At night we put the clothes in individual lockers that we had in our room and some of us shower the heat did. When we relax, play cards for a while till we tired and we went to bed very tired.
